Looking Ahead

UP FRONT:

NEXT SUNDAY, FEB. 7th, IS S(O)UPER BOWL SUNDAY:
It is also Communion Sunday and an opportunity to give to
the benevolence offering for agencies providing food and
shelter in our community. The Mission Team is urging
everyone to bring non-perishable food items and/or monetary
donations to supply the food pantries and to shelter the
homeless. It has already been a harsh winter and taxed the
resources of Bartlett House and other agencies serving those
in need. Let's step up and do our part in feeding the hungry
and sheltering the homeless in Morgantown. May God bless
every giver and every gift!

HYGIENE KITS FOR HAITI:
Mission Team Focus for February - Because of the earthquake,
the people of Haiti are in desperate need. Each of us can help
in a meaningful way, not only with cash, but in making hygiene
kits. We can assemble hygiene kits to be distributed by Church
World Service. This is an on-going project. Over the years, the
kits have been sent wherever needed.

PRAYER LIST FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL
Dr. Cooper is asking for names of any Military Personnel
(relatives, friends, neighbors), serving in the Military in any
capacity, for our new Military Prayer List.

OFFERING ENVELOPES FOR 2010
On the tables in Merritt Chapel are the new offering envelopes.
Please pick up yours soon. If you need an offering envelope
and haven't been issued one, contact the church office.

CHOIR REHEARSALS
are Wednesday at 7:30. Bible study available from
6:30 - 7:30 every Wednesday. Come sing with us, or make any
music or joyful noise that God gifted you with. If you cannot
sing or play an instrument, PRAY (community prayer at 9:15 a.m.
every Sunday) and/or volunteer to drive on Wednesday evenings.
To Him be the glory as He has started our renaissance .. as usual,
His way not ours! We had 21 in the choir Sunday, Nov. 8!
Hurray!

NEW PICTORIAL DIRECTORY
